La Gomera Island Trekking Tour
A small-group island program shaped around forest, central mountains and a full mountain-to-coast walking experience.
One coherent island program
La Gomera is being developed as one multi-day trekking product rather than a collection of separately bookable day hikes. The current internal route bank combines a gentler El Cedro forest component, stronger central-mountain terrain around Los Roques and a longer Vallehermoso mountain-and-coast component.
Working route components: El Cedro forest, Los Roques and southern La Gomera, and Vallehermoso mountain-to-coast terrain. Final order is not fixed.
The tour is designed around a flexible one-base island format informed by Julia's existing knowledge of La Gomera.

Who it is for
Final fitness threshold requires verification with the confirmed route bank; current working components include one demanding day. The current route bank is better aligned with active hikers than complete beginners if all three components are retained. Uneven mountain paths, forest terrain, substantial ascent and descent, and varied island conditions. The final day order must account for recovery, weather, transport and group fit.
This tour is for you if
- Active hikers interested in the varied landscapes of La Gomera
- Participants comfortable with sustained ascent and descent if the stronger route components remain in the final program
- Travellers who prefer a coherent island program rather than booking isolated hikes
Not the best fit if
- Anyone expecting every day to be easy
- Participants unwilling or unable to manage uneven mountain terrain if the current stronger components are retained
