Small-group trekking tours, built the same careful way

Walking weeks and mountain programs across the Canary Islands and beyond — calm, professional, small-group. Each destination is published only once route feasibility, legal access, and logistics are verified. Until then: research, honest status, and a place on the list.

What Trekking Tours are

Small-group, multi-day walking and trekking programs led or curated by Julia Loves Rocks — walking weeks, Canary Islands trekking programs, and mountain programs further afield, once each is verified.

Positioned as calm, professional trips with realistic level descriptions, preparation guidance, route-fit logic day to day, and respect for mountain conditions and local regulations — not mass tourism, not extreme adventure for everyone, not a cheap package.

Who they're for

Hikers wanting a small-group, multi-day walking trip with honest level guidance — not a fixed mass-tour itinerary.

Small groups only

Group size kept small by design, so pace, terrain and daily rhythm stay manageable for everyone walking.

Product types

Three formats, one careful standard

Each format sits at a different stage of readiness. None skip the verification a multi-day trip needs before it's sold publicly.

Comfort Walking Week

A public-facing small-group walking holiday with selected accommodation, clear daily structure, route support, preparation guidance and simple booking logic.

Island Trekking Tour

A Canary Islands multi-day trekking program that expands beyond Tenerife, while staying rooted in mountain knowledge, safety-aware preparation and small groups.

Premium Mountain Program

A higher-ticket mountain week for destinations with stronger terrain, weather, protected-area, legal, insurance, or guide-scope requirements — its own verification gate.

Multi-day route fit

The same judgment, spread over several days

A trekking week isn't one route decision — it's several, in sequence. Each day is weighed against how the group is holding up, not just the map.

  • Cumulative fatigue across consecutive walking days
  • Changing weather windows day to day
  • Rest-day and easier-day placement in the itinerary
  • Bail-out points and route alternatives per stage

FAQ

Questions about the future line

Can I book a Trekking Tour right now?

Not yet. Trekking Tours is a future product line — each destination is published only once route feasibility, legal access, permits, insurance, logistics and pricing are verified. Join the interest list to hear when that changes.

Which destinations are being considered?

La Palma and La Gomera are the strongest Canary Islands candidates. Mallorca, Menorca, Picos de Europa, and mainland Spain/Portugal/Balearics are earlier-stage research or candidate ideas. None have confirmed dates or prices.

Will prices and dates be published soon?

Only once verified — legal access, insurance, accommodation and cost base all need to be confirmed first. Until then you'll see honest status labels like "requires verification" or "in research," never invented numbers.

How is a multi-day trip different from a private hike?

The same route-fit judgment applies, but repeated over consecutive days — weighing cumulative fatigue, changing weather windows, and rest-day placement, not just a single day's conditions.

How do I stay informed?
